Support
One small app, two ways to reach the person who makes it.
The quickest route is the support form — it already knows you are writing about Umbra.
Reporting a bug
Bugs can also go straight to the public tracker: GitHub issues. Umbra is open source, so an issue there is visible to everyone — fine for a bug, but keep anything private for the form.
Wherever you report it, the more of this you can include the faster it gets fixed:
- Your macOS version — Apple menu › About This Mac.
- Your Umbra version.
- What you did, what happened, and what you expected instead.
Updates
Umbra updates itself in place via Sparkle, so a fix reaches you without you doing anything. The latest DMG is also always at GitHub releases if you ever want to reinstall by hand. What the update check does and does not send is on the privacy page.
