claude2tmux · privacy

Nothing to disclose.

claude2tmux is a shell script that moves Claude Code sessions from a plain terminal into tmux. A privacy policy is supposed to list what a program collects and where it sends it. Both lists are empty.

What it collects

Nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no telemetry, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to.

What leaves your machine

Also nothing. The script makes no network requests at all — no curl, no wget, nothing that opens a socket. Everything it does is local terminal and tmux plumbing on your own machine. You don't have to take our word for it: it is a few hundred lines of shell, and you can read every one of them.

That is also the update mechanism, or rather the absence of one: the script never phones home to check for a new version. Updating is something you do, by pulling the repo or grabbing a newer release.

Claude Code itself

Claude Code has its own privacy story, governed by Anthropic — claude2tmux is not part of it and is not affiliated with Anthropic. It only moves a session between terminals; it neither reads nor transmits what you and Claude said to each other.
